Emby/Jellyfin users cannot login and are getting incorrect password message

If your Emby/Jellyfin users cannot login and are getting incorrect password message, please check the following:

  • Ensure users are logging in with they Emby Connect email and password created when registering their email address for Emby Connect for Emby or their Emby/Jellyfin email and password that was generated for them

  • Ensure users have not logged in already on maximum number of devices as defined on their plan in Streams Manager. Each plan in Streams Manager defines how many Emby/Jellyfin devices a user can login on and once the quota is used, logging in on additional devices will be disabled (they will get password incorrect message). To allow users to login on new devices either delete some of the devices they have assigned to them on the Devices page or modify the plan in Streams Manager to allow more Emby/Jellyfin devices. Then run Device Enforcement on Devices page.
