# Libraries configuration

Once your servers are imported and configured, ensure that serves you wish to be utilized by Streams Manager are enabled (edit server and ensure that Enabled switch is ON). Once that is done, it is time to import your libraries:

* Go to the Servers panel
* Open the table menu and click Sync so that servers are enabled can sync server libraries
* Click on Servers & Libraries dropdown and then on Libraries and ensure you see the libraries that are on your servers
* **IMPORTANT!** Edit each library and assign it a library group defined previously

{% hint style="danger" %}
When you add new library to your media server they will be imported during the next synchronization cycle (daily) uness you initiate server sync manually. Note that by default new libraries will be put in the Private group which means no user will be able to access them. Once the library is synchronized, you must edit it to assign it a group or it won't be shared
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://streamsmanager.gitbook.io/streams-manager/configuration/libraries-configuration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
