# Can I switch platforms?

Streams Manager plans include a single platform of your choice (Plex, Emby or Jellyfin). If you wish to change your platform (i.e. go from Plex to Emby), this is possible at no additional charge but it has some caveats.

Please be aware of the following:

* Before you initiate the switch, you have to delete all Plex accounts you have on Plex accounts page
* Before you initiate the switch, you have to delete all servers from Servers page of the type you are switching from
* Please open a ticket in Discord and request the change

{% hint style="danger" %}
Deleting Plex account or servers as described above is a **DESTRUCTIVE** operation and will delete all share information in Streams Manager only (not on media server). For example, this will delete information about which user was on which server and that will make automatic migration between servers and platforms impossible. Your payment data and subscription expiration dates will stay in place.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://streamsmanager.gitbook.io/streams-manager/faq/can-i-switch-platforms.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
