Square recurring plan setup

Square has concept of subscription plans and subscription plan variations. Eventually, subscription plan variation will match one-to-one to your plan in Streams Manager. There are many ways to setup subscription plan variations but the following may be the easiest.

• Login to your Square account on https://app.squareup.com/

• On the left navigation menu, navigate to Items & services -> Items library

• Click the Create item button at the top of the page

• Select item stype of digital item and give it a name that is not related to streaming services such as Virtual Private Server

• Set units per item

• Create different variations of the item, one for each of your Streams Manager plans, price them the same as your Streams Manager plan and give them names that are not related to streaming services such as 1 vCPU , 2 vCPU , etc. and save the item

• On the left hand navigation menu, select Subscription plans

• Click Create plan button and give it a name similar to your item such as Virtual Private Server Subscription Plan

• Assign it the item you created previously and select the frequency as monthly

• The plan will now show up in the plan selection on the Plan edit page
